US President Joe Biden welcomes the House of Representatives’ yes to Ukraine aid.
He is asking the Senate for speedy processing so he can sign, as Ukraine “is in dire need of weapons and equipment” to fight back against Russia.
“Today, members of both parties in the House of Representatives voted to strengthen our security interests and sent a clear message of American leadership globally,” Biden said in a statement on the White House website.
