US President Joe Biden announces a new support package for Ukraine, worth the equivalent of just over SEK 25 billion.

A White House statement said Biden, who has three weeks left in his presidency, is proud to support Ukrainians who are defending “their independence and freedom from Russian aggression.”

It has been speculated that the support package would include the Hawk anti-aircraft system, Stinger robots and artillery shells. The statement does not specify exactly what kind of help it is, but it says that the Ministry of Defense is in the process of delivering hundreds of thousands of artillery shells, thousands of rockets and hundreds of armored vehicles that will strengthen Ukraine for the winter.
