In the statement made by the White House Spokesperson, it was noted that the two leaders discussed the launch of the Workers’ Rights Partnership, the first US-Brazil joint global initiative to improve the rights of working people around the world.
In the statement, it was stated that Biden and Lula also drew attention to the importance of restoring democracy in Venezuela, and reiterated the United States’ support for the Venezuelan people for a free and fair election and the restoration of democracy.
