President of the United States Joe Biden and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi will sign a bilateral security agreement between their countries on Thursday in connection with the G7 summit.

This was reported by the national security advisor of the United States Jake Sullivan. According to him, the United States does not commit to sending soldiers in the agreement, but promises Ukraine weapons and other military assistance.

According to Sullivan, the agreement is similar to the previous ones that Ukraine has already signed with fifteen other countries. The agreement between Finland and Ukraine on security cooperation was signed in April. Other Nordic countries also have similar agreements with Ukraine.
