The first time the police encountered the suspected bicycle thief was at 9 o’clock on Sunday morning in the Sandbacka district.
When the police patrol finds the man, he has a bicycle which is confiscated together with a bicycle battery and tools that the man had with him. A theft report is drawn up – but the man is not arrested.
Arrested the second time
Two hours later, at 11.30, the police are contacted again about a man moving around on bicycles, he is also said to have moved on a bicycle. This time the alarm comes from the Haga district, a stone’s throw from Sandbacka.
When the police arrive at the scene, they meet the same man they arrested for the bicycle theft earlier. Unlike the first time, the man is arrested this time.
