Biathlon: Sebastian Samuelsson reached the podium despite a barrier

Samuelsson shot for victory in the last shootout but had to see a shot miss. Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin, who started two minutes ahead of the Swede, held it together and fired full, taking his fourth World Cup win.

He was 18.9 seconds ahead of Samuelsson, who without the penalty round had won the competition. Samuelsson was the fastest in the track ahead of Jacquelin.

– He is extremely fast in the track and then he reaches the podium despite a barrier, says expert Björn Ferry.

Martin Ponsiluoma continues to have problems with shooting and made three saves.
