Biathlon: Martin Ponsiluoma is identified as the best cross -country skier: “is not far behind anyway”

With the biathlon Hedegart’s second place in Holmenkollen’s 10 km freely, where he housed William Poromaa, the question is raised again about how the biathlon stands against the cross -country skiers in the track.

Johannes Dale, who went the third stretch in today’s mixed relay, against Ponsiluoma believes that he is Sweden’s best skier.

– Yes, I have to say that. Ponsi is very strong so the question is whether he would have beaten Einar today and got up on the pallet he too, perhaps as third, thinks Dale, which was inspired by Hedegart’s race.

Ponsiluoma had full control of Hedegart’s race.

– It’s a really impressive race, just five seconds from the victory after leaving as starting number eight and not having any times to go on. It shows how little difference there is on length and biathlon right now, says Ponsiluoma.

Ponsiluoma: “Biathlon is a little family”

Hedegart says that if you attack a biathlon, you all attack. What do you say about it?

– Biathlon is a little family, but I think it is the cross -country skiers who are more afraid of us.

What do you say about the tribute from Hedegart?

– It’s fun. I have no idea how he stands against the other Norwegians, you have to ask Johannes (Thingnes Bö) and Tarjei (Bö) about. They probably have a very good look at his level.

He fires on rivalry by claiming that you are the best?

– I don’t want to comment on it. It’s just speculation but I don’t think I’m far behind anyway, says Ponsiluoma.
