– Today I drove my first hard, slightly harder session after I felt crass and just want to drive more. It is important to be patient in the next few days to reach the highest level, says Hanna Öberg to SVT’s Vinterstudion.

The competitions in Finland begin on Saturday 30 November with single mixed relays and a women’s relay the day after 1 December. Öberg is about to drop the opening relays in order to have time to fully recover.
– We haven’t decided when I will run the first race, the World Cup starts with two relay days. It will take a lot for me not to run the short distance (12.5 km) next Wednesday, says Öberg about the competition on December 4.
She had two periods of illness during the last season when it was only a twelfth place overall in the World Cup.
