“I want to thank everyone who writes about the Salming gene. You don’t understand how happy that makes me. The last few days I’ve been walking around like 100 kilos have been lifted off my shoulders. It’s partly thanks to all the love I get from you!”, writes Bianca on her Instagram story.
Bianca’s year
The high jumper also shares how tough the first year without father Börje by his side has been.
“This year has been the worst in my life, I have never experienced all these feelings of sadness, uncertainty, loneliness, and not recognizing myself,” writes Bianca.

The 25-year-old can also see the positive in the difficult times.
“But it has also been one of the best years. As quickly as I needed to “grow up” and learn new things. All the incredible things I got to experience. In the dark there were many beautiful moments that I will remember forever. I learned so much about myself and today I am proud of it”.
