Beyonce made one of the years biggest country records —

The country music organization of America announced the year’s CMA award nominations last night.

American singer Beyonce didn’t receive a single nomination for his Cowboy Carter album when the country music association CMA announced the award nominations last night.

One of the world’s most famous popular music creators is known for his R&B music. At the beginning of the year, he released a country record that explored the black roots of country music.

Beyoncé has said that Cowboy Carter was born out of her own experience of not feeling welcome in the world of country music.

Missing out on a nomination seems surprising because, for example, the album’s first single, Texas Hold ‘Em, topped the charts in the United States and elsewhere in the world – including country music charts.

Beyoncé is the first black woman to hold the top spot in the US on Billboard’s country album and singles charts.

Last year, a black songwriter Tracy Chapman won the Song of the Year award at the CMA gala as a songwriter. It was a Caucasian male singer Luke Combs version of Chapman’s 1988 hit.
