Beyoncé in concert in 2023: Paris, Marseille… Dates in France

Beyonce in concert in 2023 Paris Marseille Dates in France

BEYONCE. The American star Beyoncé has formalized the dates of her international tour, called “Renaissance Tour”. The singer will notably pass through Paris and Marseille.

[Mis à jour le 1er février 2023 à 20h23] Beyoncé returns to the stage. After releasing his album last year Renaissance, the American singer formalized, this Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the details of the dates of her world tour, the “Renaissance Tour”, on her website. The interpreter of Break My Soul will begin its tour on May 10 in Stockholm (Sweden) and will end its series of event concerts on September 27 in New Orleans (USA).

In the meantime, French fans have reason to rejoice. Beyoncé will be in France for two concerts: May 26 at the Stade de France in Paris, then June 11 at the Vélodrome de Marseille. The ticket office for these event concerts opens on Tuesday, February 7, at 10 a.m. There is no doubt that you will have to be punctual (and patient) to hope to win a precious sesame.

If fans’ expectations are so high, it’s because Beyoncé hasn’t been on tour since 2018 and On the Runwith her husband Jay-Z, who had taken her to North America and Europe, with two exceptional concerts at the Stade de France (remember, the World Cup final…) and in Nice.

Recently, Beyoncé had rather talked about her for a controversial concert organized in a luxury hotel in Dubai. A show that had aroused the anger of the LGBTQI + community, traditionally supported by Queen B, because of the draconian laws of the emirate. “An album specially dedicated to his gay uncle to end up performing in Dubai in one of the most LGBTphobic countries in the world where homosexuality remains theoretically punishable by death”, reacted Sébastien Tüller, LBGTI + manager for Amnesty International. France.

The Scrapbook Renaissance by Beyoncé

It was the release of the summer of 2022, or even of the year: that of Beyoncé’s new album, baptized Renaissance and released on Friday, July 29, 2022. Despite leaking to social media 48 hours before its release, fans held on and waited until D-Day to check out Queen B’s 16 new tracks. “The album leaked, but you waited for the real release, to enjoy it all together. I’ve never seen anything like it,” the star rejoiced on Twitter.

Renaissance therefore has 16 unreleased tracks, dance music atmosphere, carried by the single already released Break My Soul. We discover here a Beyoncé all in electro, with productions, once again, impeccable. Many are the danceable pieces, the hits in the making and the vocal performances on the agenda. Something to delight his admirers, who are thousands to rave about Renaissance on social networks.

“The transitions? The vocals? The perfect productions? B. didn’t come back to do the extras. Very ambitious project, very worked. Ethics drives me absolutely crazy”, wrote for example a fan on Twitter, when another adds: “I have never been part of the #BeyHive (the fans of Beyoncé editor’s note.) but WOW Beyoncé did something monumental with this album Renaissance, every song I listen to is amazing! A flawless one.” Successful comeback therefore.

An electro album

Renaissance is Beyoncé’s seventh album, announced only on June 16 and introduced by a first single, Break My Soul, released on June 21. A first unreleased for six years and the last solo album of the American singer, Lemonade. Renaissance has 16 songs. A mention, “Act 1”, also suggests that this disc is only the first part of Beyoncé’s new project.

the album Renaissance is composed of electro and country songs, developed in collaboration with songwriter Ryan Tedder, who has worked with Adele, Tawlor Swift or the Jonas Brothers. According to the tabloid The Sun, Beyoncé “wrote all the tracks during the pandemic, when she was desperate and desperate to be on stage and with her fans.” The same source specifies that “this album and the promotion will be the most interactive since the beginning of her career, because she wants to reach out to the fans.”

Beyoncé and the single Break My Soul

Before the release of Renaissance, Beyoncé unveiled, on June 21, 2022, the first song of her new project. A very electro title called Break My Soulreleased almost by surprise since the singer had simply written on social networks the enigmatic phrase “6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET”, implying that something was brewing.

Finally the song Break My Soul was published around four in the morning, French time, on the YouTube channel of Queen B. A few hours only after its release, the video has been viewed some 1.3 million times… Proof of the expectations of the fans.
