Born in Germany to a Ghanaian father, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and the Fine Arts in Paris, the artist Jojo Gronostay deploys his multiple identity through the transformations and metamorphoses of his hybrid works. He uses textile waste sent to Africa to send them back to the West in the form of works of art. His Brutalism series is currently exhibited at the Circulation(s) festival at Centquatre, in Paris.
