As well as being useful for cleaning your kettle, you can also use citric acid to remove limescale from the toilet as well as mold and limescale from the washing machine.
To use citric acid to descale the kettle, it’s very simple. Add a tablespoon of citric acid to the appliance then add water, just enough to fill a quarter of the kettle. Boil the preparation, it doesn’t even take two minutes. Lift the lid, pour the liquid into the sink, and that’s it. The limescale is gone! Rinse your kettle well and that’s it. The final advantage of citric acid is that there is no risk that the product will leave a bad taste in the kettle unlike white vinegar!
