It will be a different start in the autumn “Robinson” when three teams compete to stay. There is room for two teams in Robinson, the third ends up directly in Gränslandet. After a first competition, one team is ready to stay and form Team South. The other two teams will be placed in an additional competition.
But before that, Thomas Bergkvist and Roger Flink, who both ensured that their respective teams lost in the first competition, will negotiate. It is between an advantage for his team in the decisive contest or an amulet that makes you stick with Robinson regardless of whether the team wins or loses. If they fail to agree, they both end up in Gränslandet.
Roger, who works as a contract negotiator, makes his team believe that he will negotiate the best for the group. It won’t happen – he’ll come back with the amulet.
– It still feels good now that you have this. You can relax in a better way and do the competition without stress in your body, says Roger to the team.
But the more he talks about it, the more irritation is created in the others. Amanda Rivas states that he does not seem to have a guilty conscience or to be sad.
– And then I also realize that this is the jerk that made us lose. This feels really rotten, really bad, she says.
“I almost feel like dreaming about him”
And the irritation will turn out to be greater. Roger decides to sink his team during the competition. He deliberately hides one of the puzzle pieces in the bag, when that was his only task in the competition – to get all the puzzle pieces out of the bag.
– I just look at him and just: “are you serious?”, says Amanda.
– I almost feel like dreaming about him. It’s at that level. How? You have a job. You would pick out the puzzles. You forget a bit. Then I just felt, you bastard, she continues.
In sync, Roger explains that he has been thinking all night about how he will succeed in syncing his team without it showing too much.
– Before the competition, I had changed my plans and I would try to make sure that this team does not win. If they were to win, I would be the first one they would vote for Gränslandet, says Roger.
– Morally wrong, one might say. But games are games, he continues.
