Beta of The War Within starts – here’s how to register now

How can you sign in? To register for the beta of “The War Within” you have to follow a few steps:

  • Simply log in to your account on the official World of Warcraft website.
  • Then click on the large “Beta registration” button.
  • On the next page click on “Request beta access”

    • If everything went well, you will receive a green message with a tick informing you that the registration was successful.

    Is there another way to participate? Yes, that is possible. If you pre-order the most expensive version of The War Within, the Epic Edition, it will include guaranteed access to the beta, along with a few other bonuses such as 3-day early access.

    However, this does not mean that you will have access immediately when the beta starts. It is quite possible that those who pre-ordered will only be invited to the beta at a later date, when the tests are a little more mass-produced in order to test the areas even with a high number of characters or to collect more widespread feedback.

    How do you find out if you’re there? If you get beta access, you can check it directly in the Battle.net app. In this case, you could select the “In Development” menu item under the version selection on the World of Warcraft tab and then select the beta for The War Within. At the same time, you will also be informed via an email from Blizzard.

    When does the beta start? There is no specific date for the beta yet. However, evidence from data mining and the roadmap suggests that at least the alpha will start either this week or next week. The beta test usually takes place a few weeks later.
