In Elden Ring there are 70 sorceries that you can find as you travel through the intermediate lands. We’ll show you which of the best spells are in our Tier List.
What are sorceries? There are two forms of magic in Elden Ring and one of them is “sorceries”. The sorceries have a more offensive effect compared to the invocations and usually equip you with magical missiles or melee attacks.
There are up to 70 spells in total in the intermediate lands, but not all of them are worthwhile in a powerful wizard build. So that you know which spells are the best, we list the best ones in our tier list.

Elden Ring: Best Spells – Tier List to all magics
How is the list structured? Our MeinMMO author Christos Tsogos has collected all the magic, tested it and compared it with the opinions of the community. All spells were then divided into their respective levels S – D.
For our ranking, we used levels S (the best) to D (niche magic) to divide the magic into its respective strength classes. Now let’s get to the list:
Best Spells in S Tier (The Best of the Best)
Best Spells in A-Tier (Strong for Many Concerns)
Best Spells in B Tier (Good)
Best Spells in C Tier (Mediocre – Good for Beginners)
Best Spells in D Tier (Not Worthwhile)
Also note this thing: It doesn’t matter whether your favorite spell is in the highest ranking or not. The list is just to know which spells are the best. So if your spell is at level C or D but you like to play it in your build, you shouldn’t banish it. Play with what you enjoy.
If you have any suggestions or disagree with the list, please feel free to leave your opinion in the comments. We would be happy to discuss with you and are open to suggestions.
