CES, the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to consumer electronics, was once again rich in innovations this year. Cars, robots, connected objects or televisions, there is something for everyone. A look back at a selection of striking new products unveiled in this 2023 edition, which has just closed its doors in Las Vegas.

Historically, the CES has always given pride of place to the audiovisual sector, so televisions have once again been at the heart of the event. In addition to the latest innovations presented by the manufacturers, in particular Samsung and Panasonic, certain initiatives have particularly caught the attention, such as that of LG which has imagined a television set without the slightest cable. The idea is to connect all the peripherals to a box placed at a respectable distance from the screen.

On the computing side, Lenovo caused a sensation with its very first portable PC equipped with two 13-inch screens, expected in commerce in the second half of 2023. A new type of innovative portable computer should soon appear, equipped with a technology allowing you to benefit from 3D on the screen, without having to wear special glasses. The first to stick to it is Asus. In a more “dynamic” cycle, Acer has surprised its world with an astonishing office bike, durable and eco-responsible, which allows you to exercise in order to recharge your computer, while working.

Players have not been forgotten, with several particularly innovative concepts. The gamepad is undoubtedly the element at the heart of the reflections, with two particularly interesting projects. The first is signed Alienware, with its Nyx concept and its new controller offering new features, in particular thanks to its fingerprint reader. For its part, Sony presented Leonardo, a new kind of controller project dedicated to people with disabilities.

Many other novelties have caught the eye, starting with a stroller that rolls on its own (without a baby on board for the moment) or even a module to be installed in its toilets and which allows you to do your own urine analysis home. A new robot also caused a stir. Intended primarily for the elderly, it can indeed act as a caretaker, assistant and “robot to do everything” thanks in particular to its two articulated arms.

On the well-being side, women suffering from reduced mobility in the hands or arms can now hope to be able to apply make-up properly, while snorers can fall back on their side on a pillow which will now prevent them from making too much noise at night. .

Finally, for several years, the automobile has been at the heart of the festivities, with once again many manufacturers present. The CES was thus the setting this year for the presentation of the new brand Afeela, launched by Sony Honda Mobility, but also many concept cars including the Peugeot Inception.
