“Best in Test” reported to the Review Board
But the latest episode of “Best in Test”, which was aired on February 21, has also been criticized. In a notification that has been submitted to the Review Board, a viewer questions how to destroy food “for the sake of entertainment” in the program.
During one of the tests in the section, the panel should fry pancakes, which should then be thrown as high as possible over a rib and then be caught again. But the throw was not always successful – something that resulted in several pancakes instead ending up on the ground.

“In a time when climate issues, lack of resources and global hunger are burning up to date, this choice feels both incomprehensible and provocative. Food is a valuable resource that requires great efforts from both nature and people to produce. To use food as a prop, where it is deliberately destroyed, sends out a signal that food waste is acceptable. like News24 taken part in.
The person continues:
“I therefore want to ask you to consider alternative solutions in future sections, where food is not wasted, or where surplus food is donated to the needy after the recordings. As a leading media platform, you have the power to influence and inspire a more sustainable society. In particular, the young people in society.”
The Review Board has not yet taken a position on the notification.
