(Finance) – “Approval of the Airport Acoustic Zoning Plan score one fundamental stage in the process of balance with the neighboring territory and is to be considered the instrument capable of guaranteeing the compatibility of aeronautical activities from a sustainability perspective. The airport commission has worked intensely in recent months and I am very satisfied with everyone’s full agreement with the Plan. Our company’s commitment to implementing the indications set out in the Environmental Impact Assessment continues.”

This is the comment of Giovanni Sangapresident of SACBOafter learning that the Airport Commission (composed of Enac, Enav, Sacbo, Ministry of the Environment, Lombardy Region, Province of Bergamo, ARPA Lombardia, representing airlines and the Municipalities of Bergamo, Orio al Serio, Azzano San Paolo, Grassobbio, Seriate, Brusaporto, Bagnatica, Costa di Mezzate and Bolgare), in the meeting held on 29 November, unanimously approved the Airport Acoustic Zoning Plan.

Outside the three bands of acoustic zoning, the maximum limit is established at 60 dBA. In parallel. in zone C only activities connected to the airport are permitted. In zone B, new constructions or intended uses of residential buildings are not permitted. No limitations on territorial planning in zone A.
