In Benin, the trial of the SPSL Udeme vessel opened this Wednesday morning, August 14, in Cotonou. The judges of the Criet (Court for the Repression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism) ordered the dismantling of the boat that ran aground on the Beninese coast on June 29. The counsel for the 18 defendants are contesting this decision, the trial has been postponed until November 7.
