In Benin, seven years after the last hearing, this Tuesday, March 11, the trial of a very obscure criminal case resumed. Fifteen years ago, in August 2010, Pierre Urbain Dangnivo, an executive of the Ministry of Finance and opposing at the time within the Social Democratic Party, mysteriously disappeared in Cotonou, when he was driving his car. His alleged body was found two months later at the home of the main suspect, a witchen, tried for “assassination”.
