It has been a week now that two attacks by the support group for Islam and Muslims (JNIM), linked to Al-Qaeda, claimed the lives of 54 Beninese soldiers in the north of the country. The Islamic Union of Benin (UIB) and other associations severely condemned the carnage of February 17. This Friday, April 25, on the occasion of the Great Prayer, the UIB imposed an anti-radicalization preaching in the more than 6,000 mosques in the country.
