The Canadian striker strengthens the TPS attack
The ice hockey league club TPS has signed a one-year player contract with the attacker by Jean-Christophe Beaudin with, says Turkulaiseura on their website.
The 27-year-old Canadian has played the last two seasons in the German premier league for the Wolfsburg team. Last season, in 47 regular season matches, there were 9 goals and a total of 23 power points. In his career, he has also played 22 NHL games for the Ottawa Senators in the 2019–20 season.
– I am very happy about this new challenge! I have heard a lot of good things about the city and the organization. I got a chance to play against TPS in the CHL a couple of years ago and they were two really good games, so I know how good the Finnish League is. I can’t wait to get into real action, says Beaudin.
TPS player coordinator Tomi Kallio is satisfied that an agreement was reached with the Canadian striker.
– This is a good-sized and very versatile center forward who shoots from the right, who plays strongly in both directions – he has the ability to make plays and his strength is also a good shot. It is also important to us that he is a good skater and at his best age, so he should fit well into our team building. Versatile is probably the best word to describe him.
