“Being unique is a superpower”, L’Oréal Paris muse, Cindy Bruna shares her best-kept beauty secrets with us – meeting

Being unique is a superpower LOreal Paris muse Cindy Bruna

Committed and radiant, French model Cindy Bruna shared with us her beauty tips to preserve her radiance, both on the catwalk and in everyday life, during the ‘Walk Your Worth’ fashion show by L’Oréal Paris. Encounter.

In just a few years, she has become one of the most fashionable models of her generation. From the height of her 82 meter height, Cindy Bruna radiates with her dazzling smile and her dreamy hair, lighting up the parades of emblematic houses such as Balmain, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Elie Saab. This Monday, September 23, she once again made the photographers’ flashes crackle, opening the parade for the fourth consecutive year “Walk Your Worth“, a show honoring sorority, female emancipation and self-confidence, organized by L’Oréal Paris for Fashion Week. An important message for the star, also godmother of the Solidarité Femmes association since 2018. And when she doesn’t walk the catwalks, Cindy Bruna happily relies on her favorite rituals and beauty products to take care of her top model skin.

You have been the face of L’Oréal Paris for more than four years now. What does walking for this brand mean to you? What is special about her in your eyes?

It was a dream since I was little to be a L’Oréal muse. I grew up with the slogan “Because I’m worth it”, I saw myself in front of my mirror repeating it, so it’s a privilege and an honor for me to be one of these women who are so inspiring and whom I have always admired. I’m also lucky enough to be able to open this show for the fourth time, which is pretty crazy. So there you have it, a lot of recognition, I’m really looking forward to it.

What are the highlights that marked your adventure with L’Oréal Paris?

My first meeting with the L’Oréal Paris team happened when I was not yet a muse. It was as part of the collaboration with Balmain. I was one of the models, top models who had been chosen for this campaign and it is true that since that day, a small seed had been planted. I met them and told them that I would love to be one of the muses. It took a few years, but then I had this wonderful meeting with Delphine Vivier. There are also of course my first campaigns with them, they were very strong moments. The first was for the Casting Crème Gloss range. I will remember it all my life. It was such a privileged moment suspended in time… Recently, there was the collaboration with the Cat’s Eyes series from L’Oréal Paris and my presence, finally, as an actress. It was a bit of a way of closing the loop. I only remember good times and great adventures.

What beauty essentials do you take with you everywhere?

Mascara, I’m really on team mascara. I may not have foundation or anything, but mascara always does the trick. There is the Panorama mascara which is extraordinary, and ultimately a mattifying powder. I really like the Infallible powder because it really is infallible and lasts all day!

Regarding your daily routine, do you have an unexpected beauty tip to share with us?

I sleep with a silk pillowcase, and I want to say that we don’t necessarily think about it, but it can make a difference in hydrating the skin and hair. I really saw a before/after.

If you had to recommend only one L’Oréal Paris product to our readers, what would it be?

Just one? Oh my, it’s hard! I can’t say mascara again, so I’ll say the Color Rich lipstick, because it hydrates the lips very well and gives a nice satin finish which always feels good.

Your well-being ritual to relax after a show?

After a show, I’m a bit of the “herbal tea, hot water bottle, house, TV” team, very quiet things to relax me (laughs). A little moment of decompression, peaceful at home.

To use the title of your book, “The day I stopped being afraid“, published by Harper Collins in 2022, what advice would you give to women wanting to free themselves from the ghosts of the past?

Talk. That was really the whole point. The goal was to break the silence, to get out of this taboo a little because I think it is important that the shame changes sides. It is not in the victims, but in the aggressors, and it must be said again and again. I think freeing yourself from this silence is essential.

Finally, to return to the “Walk Your Worth” event which will be held this Monday, September 23, at Place de l’Opéra, what message would you like to convey to the young women who will watch you parade?

I want to tell them that they are unique, that they are special, that already being unique is their superpower. They must assume responsibility, walk with confidence, take their place in society, in their lives. There is something very important about sorority in this parade. We’re all going to walk together and there’s nothing more beautiful than women supporting each other.

Do you have any plans to share with us for the coming months?

So yes, I have some pretty surprising projects for the coming months, particularly in cinema. I took my first steps towards these beautiful adventures. You will see me very soon in the series “Cat’s Eyes” by Alexandre Laurent. You will also see me in the film “Prosperous“directed by Yohann Gloaguen with Jean-Pascal Zadi, and in “French Lover“, alongside Omar Sy and Sara Giraudeaux. A Netflix film directed by Nina Rives.
