Before his Geralt farewell, Henry Cavill may have starred in an entire The Witcher movie, which is coming to Netflix soon

The third season of The Witcher will be released in two parts on June 29 and July 27, 2023 on Netflix. For fans, the new episodes will be a bittersweet experience. It has been known since last fall that Henry Cavill is turning his back on the fantasy hit and will no longer be seen as Geralt of Rivia from season 4 onwards. But is season 3 really his last appearance?

A new The Witcher movie is coming after season 3 – but also with Henry Cavill?

Netflix’s The Witcher universe will continue to expand in the coming years. In addition to seasons 4 and 5, a spin-off series about a young gang of thieves and another anime movie announced, about which exciting new information has now been leaked.

A new adventure for Geralt and Dandelion?

In the story not previously adapted in the Netflix series, both play Geralt von Riva as well as Delphinium play a major role. So we can assume that both characters will also appear in the film. Should both of her live-action actors (vocally) return for the film, fans can look forward to one final performance from Henry Cavill.

According to an Instagram post by Essi Daven spokeswoman Christina Wren, they found Dialogue recordings for the film in summer 2022 took place – and thus before the announcement of Henry Cavill’s departure. Whether he will actually be heard as Geralt has not yet been officially announced.
