Be careful not to say his name three times! BeetlejuiceBeetlejuicesequel to the fantasy-horror comedy by Tim Burton, is finally revealed in a first teaser. Thirty-six years after the first episode, the director returns alongside Michael Keaton as the prankster demon, Winona Ryder as Lydia and Catherine O’Hara as Delia.
In this sequel, the Deetz family is back in Winter River and will have to face Beetlejuice again when Lydia’s daughter opens a portal leading to the Afterlife. Directed by Tim Burton, the screenplay is nevertheless written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who have already worked on the series Wednesday. In the casting, movie fans will easily recognize the star of the Netflix series Jenna Ortega in the role of Astrid, while Justin Theroux (The Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Irreversible, 007 Specter), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon) and Willem Dafoe (Poor creatures, Spider-Man) also join the cast. The film will be released in France on September 11, 2024.
