Utrecht – Things are not going well with the bee in the province of Utrecht. With a percentage of 41.6 percent, the fewest bees survived the winter in our province. The national average (25.6 percent) is lower, but this figure is still a concern for insects. At a national level, winter mortality has been the highest since 2010, according to research by Wageningen University.
