The voters have had their say. And the most votes fell on Daniel Helldén. The party announces this at its congress.
– Fantastic. Thank you very much Congress. What a party we are, he says.
He gave special thanks to the other candidate, Magnus P Wåhlin.
– For the work we did together.
And it was an even battle. As no candidate received 50 percent in the first round, elimination was required. In the last round, Daniel Helldén was the winner – with 131 votes against 130.
It was also clear that Märta Stenevi, as expected, was voted in as spokesperson and will therefore continue the mission. She received 241 votes.
