When Becky Wiggles was 22, she got tired of driving a truck in the automotive industry and quit.
She had decided to do what she loves – she was going to start stripping full time.
– I have danced all my life, always liked to show off and I am very sexual. So that industry has always attracted me, she says.
Becky Wiggles, 27, works as a stripper in Gothenburg and shares her experiences from the industry on Tiktok, where she soon has 170,000 followers.
In a new interview in the TV4 Play program “Filippa X” she tells how it happened when she took the step into the sex industry and began a life as a stripper.
Curious about the strip world
Becky Wiggles dropped out of high school to work in an automotive industry driving a truck, but when she got to know a male colleague who worked as a bartender at a strip club, her curiosity was sparked.
She began to question the colleague about how the strip world worked and after a period of intensive questioning, he sensed that there was a certain interest.
– In the end, he was the one who asked if I might want to try stripping, says Becky Wiggles.
She then got an interview at the strip club through the colleague.
Lived a double life
For a year, she lived a double life as both a truck driver and a stripper. But she had decided to leave the industry – because what she describes as a squirrel wheel was not for her.
– I love this, I love stripping. So I resigned, she says.
The family expressed concern
Becky’s two older sisters and parents were initially concerned for her safety, fearing that sex would be sold at the strip club or that she would be taken advantage of.
According to Becky, the club where she works does not sell sex. She describes the environment as safe and that the family was then supportive in her career choice.
– They said that I am a grown woman and that they cannot stop me, she says.
“Isn’t a job for everyone”
Becky says that she often receives criticism for embellishing the sex industry on Tiktok and in her podcast “Giggles with Wiggles”, but firmly rejects the criticism.
She says that she often highlights the disadvantages of the job and says that it is sad when women, especially young girls, are exploited or harmed and that she would never encourage anyone to start stripping.
– I am very clear that this is not a job for everyone, she says.
