There was another major leak in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This time, however, it was not dataminers, but players from the “National Football League” (NFL) who posted pictures from the game on social media. Included was a confirmation for the mysterious DMZ mode. MeinMMO shows you the new information.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 marketing is slowly but surely rolling. According to their own statements, many content creators have already been able to take a look at the game and apparently some advertising partners are already allowed to lend a hand.
The Los Angeles Rams, a team from the American football league NFL, were there.
But apparently there were some problems with communication. Some of the team’s players have uploaded photos from the game to social media, giving a first look at the multiplayer lobby. They also confirmed the DMZ mode by the way.

What new information is there from the leak? The most important new information is known from two pictures. We embed the images as a Twitter post:

Image 1: The first picture basically just shows the user interface of the multiplayer lobbies. You can also see the preview of one of the new multiplayer maps: “Valderas Museum”.
Picture 2: The second picture is part of a video and is a bit more exciting. Because here the lettering “DMZ” can be seen.
Previous leaks have suggested that this is Modern Warfare 2’s co-op mode. There will probably be no zombie mode for this, as with the two predecessors Cold War and Vanguard.

DMZ probably stands for “Demilitarized Zone” and is supposed to be a co-op mode that takes the popular hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov as its model – an extraction shooter or EFT-like.
There is no official information about the mode yet. Not even a hint in the direction. So far, everything has been leaked from data miners or supposed insiders.
