Despite the developers’ roadmap, some players have doubts about the future of the game and now want to ensure that Helldivers 2 continues to be actively played.

To save the Democratic Space Station

What kind of alliance is this? The open group is called the Freedom Alliance. It was launched after lengthy debates about the game in the subreddit and on Discord. Fans and prominent members of the community have decided that it might be best to do their own thing.

They joined forces and founded the alliance, which will organize major events in the future. This is intended to mobilize players for important missions.

Because there is no time to waste in the fight for freedom and democracy, the first mission is already underway. It is called “Operation Vanguard Horizon”. The aim here is to break through the Automaton’s supply lines, because they threaten the construction of the Democratic Space Station (DSS).

Available missions are shared on Reddit for interested players to take part in. After these have been completed, one of the following three tasks must be completed:

  • Create a report in the #freedom-alliance-rp channel on the Low Sodium Discord.

    • Can anyone be part of the alliance? Yes, there are no restrictions such as entry hurdles or the like. So the Freedom Alliance is not a clan or a closed group, but an idea that everyone can join.

    The current operation runs until October 24th. What will happen next with the alliance remains to be seen. The developers recently released a new update: Helldivers 2 wanted to fix the game in 60 days, now the final update is here – patch notes for 01.001.104
