Russia steps up attacks on Ukraine • “Putin is a fucking terrorist”
When TV4 Nyheterna visits areas in Odessa that were exposed to Russian robot attacks, the anger and despair is great.

At the same time, many are happy about the information that the US is expected to give the green light to Ukraine to use long-range robots against targets in Russia.
Odessa resident Anna Kraitor’s life was turned upside down when a Russian robot crashed into her neighbor’s garden. Three people died in the attack. Anna and her neighbors managed to seek shelter in the basement from the attack.
– We were completely shocked, and I was very worried for my children, Anna Kraitor tells TV4 Nyhetern’s foreign correspondent Johan Fredriksson.
Pictures from the incident show how one of the houses where the rocket hit is on fire, and the destruction is extensive at the site.
– We work and try to live a better life. But then in one day everything is destroyed, says Anna Kraitor.
Had to take shelter in the food cellar
A small market garden was also destroyed in the attack.
– Because of Russia, we have nothing left, and our government turns a blind eye to it. We need more help, says gardener Oleksandr Pethuk.
At the same time as TV4 Nyheterna visits the area, the air raid alarms start sounding, and the team is forced to take shelter in the Pethuk family’s food cellar. This time another area of Odessa was hit.
– We are happy that we are alive, but there were many who died and many who were injured, says the doctor Kateryna Kuznetsova.
“We just need Europe”
In recent days, Russia has stepped up its attacks against Ukraine. On Sunday morning, Russia carried out an extensive robot attack against several cities – something Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha judged to be one of the largest robot attacks carried out against the country. One of the cities affected was Odessa, which was largely without power after the attack.
Many that TV4 Nyheterna spoke to are happy about the information that the US will allow Ukraine to fire long-range robots at targets inside Russia. At the same time, people wonder why the announcement was delayed, and why they waited so long to “let Putin taste his own medicine”
