Ranma 1/2 is a new anime series coming to this year’s anime fall season. new adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi’s classic manga towards us. Children of the 2000s will perhaps remember the old anime series that was shown here on RTL 2 between Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball and is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
The trailer for the new edition is certainly impressive. Not only because girl Ranma finally has pink hair like in the original artwork:

The anime preview was uploaded not only by the animation studio MAPPA, which is known for the second half of Attack on Titan, but also by the Japanese NetflixThe Ranma remake will be shown there after its TV premiere on NTV on October 5, 2024 go online. Since the year before last, Takahashi’s classic sci-fi comedy Urusei Yatsura has had a similar-looking, fresh-feeling HD remake full of pastel colors. This is available online on Netflix in Germany and, as has long been confirmed, will also be continued.

However, fans of the old Ranma anime are excited about something completely different that has nothing to do with the new look of the series. As Anime News Network confirms, the original voice cast from before is returning in their original roles. This means, above all, that Kappei Yamaguchi is once again voicing Ranma as a boy and voice legend Megumi Hayashibara (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop) can be heard again as the girl Ranma.
