The English pop band broke through in the early 60s. The art exhibition depicts how the band members themselves experienced “Beatlemania”, a term coined by the press to explain the mania – fans screaming and fainting – that arose at the band’s concert performances, writes the music site Pitchfork.
The exhibition opens in June.
