– We manage to win six straight matches, despite many even matches and some losses at the end of the set. We play maturely, never give up and are strong when it really burns, says national team captain Rasmus Jonsson in a press release about Åhman/Hellvig’s performance in the tournament.
Olympics next
During this week’s competition, both the world threes from Germany and the mentioned Brazilian duo, who are today ranked as world twos, were defeated.
The next competition for the Swedish duo is the Olympics in Paris, where they have their first match against Australia on July 27.
