Often referred to (wrongly) as a fjord, the Mouths of Kotor or Boka Kotorska have not been formed by the passage of glaciers: it is actually a large submerged canyon sinking 28 km into the lands of Montenegro. Here, the Adriatic winds its way up to the mountains, forming one of the most beautiful bays in the world, lined with enchanting villages.
