Battlefield 2042’s New Season, Turning Point, Begins

Season 7 of Battlefield 2042 “Turning Point” invites players to a great power struggle in Chile’s Atacama Desert on March 19. This new season introduces two new maps, one new vehicle, new weapons, one new device and improvements to gameplay. All BF 2042 players will have the opportunity to experience this exciting content for free from March 21st to March 24th.

Battlefield 2042’s New Season Turning Point Begins: Great Power Struggle in Chile

The focus of the “Turning Point” season will be the new Haven map. Set in Chile’s Atacama Desert, this map sees a lawless battle for control in which Russian forces, allied with the Thousand Leaves Coalition, attempt to seize a vital water reserve. Haven features a mix of infantry and vehicle combat with an urban warfare-based setting and draws inspiration from favorite maps from the Battlefield series’ past.

Weapons of the season include the AK 5C assault rifle, an excellent option for close-quarters combat; the SCZ-3 submachine gun, which has become a devastating option for brutal, close-quarters combat; and the DFR Strife submachine gun, compatible with belt-fed ammunition. The Predator SRAW makes its return as a wire-guided missile designed to disable and eliminate both ground and air vehicles. The new XFAD-4 Draugr remote-controlled aerial bomber is equipped with EMP bombs and radar-guided missiles and comes as an add-on to the game.

Along with weapons and a handy gadget, the Season Battle Pass also offers premium cosmetics needed to intimidate enemies. Players will have the opportunity to instantly unlock all gear from Season 5 and Season 6 if they are Year 1 Pass Holders.

The Stadium map, which will be added to the game in the future, will offer intense close-range conflicts and will stand out as one of the most requested additions by players. Battlefield 2042’s Free Access period will run from March 21 to March 24 on all platforms, during which players will have access to all earnable content.
