Data miners are not sitting idle. They have reached Battle Pass data in the Overwatch 2 beta release files.
The Overwatch 2 beta is scheduled to be released for PC players later this month, starting April 26. Just days before the beta was released didn’t stop the dataminers from scanning the demo files and revealing files linked to a link. One of the codes in them is below, as you can see, there is a Battle Pass line for Overwatch 2.

Data miners ripped out Overwatch 2 codes
In fact, this isn’t the first time it’s appeared in the Overwatch 2 Battle Pass. Also earlier this month, a senior concept artist at Blizzard revealed a visual of the sequel’s main menu, which allows for viewing the Battle Pass. Activision Blizzard has so far not made a statement about the Battle Pass for its sequel, Overwatch 2.
In fact, if we observe the current game market and environment, would it surprise us that the Battle Pass for Overwatch 2 is coming? Almost all of the online games released in the last few years already have this feature, including Call of Duty: Warzone, Halo Infinite, Apex Legends, Fortnite, PUBG and other multiplayer games in the gaming industry.
Battle Pass files are not the only source data miners reach. PvE content is also mentioned in the upcoming game, and there were allegedly some lines pointing to the limited-time item from the first game.
