The stage, one for the classification riders, was won by Mathieu van der Poel. The Dutchman, who is explosive on the short slopes, stopped Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vindegaard behind him in the final sprint Heuvel. Van der Poel also took the yellow sweater.
