Hathaway told Porter Magazine:

I was I said as a child that my career would be over at 35. This happens to many women. Since that time, development has taken place. Women can now have longer careers, which I think is fantastic. Someone recently said to me, “There’s a lot to be proud of. But there’s also a lot to improve on.”
