Only two Swedes have previously played in the NBA: Jonas Jerebko and Jeffrey Taylor.
But this summer, two new Swedes can be chosen by NBA teams. Last month, Bobi Klintman announced that he is available to be drafted, and last night Pelle Larsson, 23, also announced that he is eligible.
“I have decided to enter my name in the 2024 NBA draft,” he writes in a post on Instagramwhere he thanks his teammates, supporters and others involved for his four years at the University of Arizona.
Before he became a college player, guard Larsson played in the Swedish basketball league with BC Luleå. He has also made four A international matches.
