Norrköping just defeated Luleå in the semi-finals of the Swedish Cup last week – so it was, to say the least, a revenge-hungry Luleå that visited the Stadium arena on Monday evening.
It was a one-sided story. Norrbottningar took command immediately and were aggressive defensively. At halftime they had a clear lead of 37-19.
Luleå then continued to play big and finally won the match with a clear 78–55 and at the same time secured the ninth straight victory in the SBL. Much thanks to 30-year-old American Mehryn Kraker, who scored a total of 22 points.
Luleå continues to lead the table on 16 points after eight games. Norrköping is third on 12 twelve points.
