(Finance) – Continues today until 3pm vote for the renewal of the Regional Council and for the President of the Region of Basilicata. Yesterday at 11pmturnout recorded was 37.74%. The counting of ballots will begin immediately after the polls close. There are three candidates for the presidency of the Region: the outgoing governor Vito Bar of for the centre-right, Piero Marrese for the center-left (including the M5S) ed Eustace FollyVolt’s candidate.
In previous regional elections in 2019 the final turnout figure at the closing of the polls was 53.52%. On that occasion, however, voting was only done on Sunday.
