BasicNet starts a new buyback

(Finance) – Following today’s meeting, BasicNet announced that he had the treasury share purchase plan was concluded started on 13 April 2023, having purchased 501,900 shares, at the average price of 4.75 euros, for a total outlay of 2.4 million euros.

The company also announced that will proceed with the launch of a new plan for the purchase of own shares.

The purchase, which can be carried out in one or more times, may concern a maximum number of own shares equal to 20% of the share capital, for a maximum value of 30 million euros.

The share buyback program will end on the date of the Shareholders’ Meeting called to approve the financial statements as of 31 December 2024.

As of today, BasicNet holds a total of 4,509,300 own shares, equal to 8.4% of the share capital.

In Piazza Affari, today, a marked increase for the Italian company group operating in the clothing sectorwhich archived the session with a profit of 3.42% on previous values.
