After three innings, Pioniers led 5-3 against Quick. In the fifth inning, the Amersfoort-squad then crossed home plate three times and twice in the sixth inning to give them the lead. In the last, ninth inning, Hoofddorp Pionier turned the game around by adding five more runs.
