Then the 67-year-old began shoot at the police. A police officer was seriously shot and is being cared for in hospital. His condition is not considered life-threatening. Another police officer was injured by broken glass in connection with the operation, the authority writes on its website.
The man has barricaded himself in the home and continued to shoot at the police through a window. Residents in the area have therefore been asked to stay indoors.
