The three-game all-star tournament played in the NHL has been won Alexander Barkov represented by the Atlantic Division team. Atlantic won in the final Mikko Rantanen and Juuse Saros with the goals of the represented Central division team 7–5. The All-Star Game was played in Florida.
In the final match, Barkov scored one goal, Rantanen registered 1+1 and Saros, who saved half of the fight, stretched in front of the puck 11/14 times.
The Atlanti team was chosen as the most valuable player (MVP) of the All-Star Game event Matthew Tkachuk. The Florida forward added 4+3 totals from the two games.
The two-set matches were played three against three and the sets lasted ten minutes.
At the club level, Barkov, who represents Florida, played in the same chain with Matthew Tkachuk and Brady Tkachuk (joint powers 1+4) with. The brothers represent different teams at the club level (Florida and Ottawa), but now they got to play on the same team.
– It was easy to play. I didn’t have to touch the puck at all in the offensive zone, Barkov told the press after the final.
Rantanen played with his Colorado Avalanche teammates Cale Makarin and by Nathan MacKinnon with.
– It was easy. Sai gave them the puck and they did the rest. It was fun to play with them, Rantanen said.
In the semi-final game, the Atlantic team beat the Metropolitan division team 10–6, and the Central team defeated the Pacific team 6–4. Florida captain Barkov scored three goals in the semifinals and Colorado star Rantanen scored two. In his first game, Saros made 11/13 saves and had one assist.
The winning team was awarded a million dollars, which the team’s 11 players get to share among themselves.
