Barely one in ten believes in rising house prices

In the latest version of the company’s brokerage panel, only seven percent state that they believe in rising prices in 2023. At the same time, 57 percent believe in unchanged prices, while 36 percent in turn believe in a continued price decline.

“We have learned, especially in the last three years, that it is extremely difficult to predict external factors and how they affect price trends. But if we do not get an unexpected positive development, we should not expect rising house prices. Stagnant or slightly falling prices during the year as a whole,” says Johan Engström, CEO of the Real Estate Agency in a press release.

The broker panel is sent out to 1,100 brokers around the country and in the latest survey 518 people responded.
