Utrecht – Utrecht will not be banned for the time being on barbecues, fire pits and fireplaces to improve air quality and prevent nuisance situations. At the moment there is still too much uncertainty about the costs, enforceability and support for a wood-burning ban. This is what the council has announced after studying a proposal from council members of GroenLinks and the Party for the Animals.
