A federal court in the United States has convicted Steve Bannon, former adviser to former President Donald Trump, of two counts of contempt of Congress.
Bannon has refused to be questioned about the storming of the US Capitol building last year.
However, he has changed his attitude and stated that he is willing to be questioned about the events that led to the loss of five people’s lives.
Despite Bannon’s U-turn, the trial has been carried out. He now faces up to two years in prison when the verdict is announced on October 21.
